Dear Family and Friends, 

Join us in our joy and praise the Lord for His good gifts!  

After being denied a medical waiver for Air Force JAG (military attorney)  in April, JM and I were officially denied entry into the Air Force. Though no official appeal process is available for such a situation, in May JM and I filed an "appeal" to this decision and ever since have been on pins and needles waiting for someone in the General Surgeon's office to review our case. 

Ten weeks and five days since our denial, after much sweat and stress, we are thrilled to testify to God's goodness and faithfulness in our lives. We heard today from our Air Force medical liaison that our case was reviewed and our medical waiver denial reversed--we are now officially invited to join Air Force JAG! Training will happen in two phases, first, we'll leave for C.O.T. (officer training) from August 27th to September 28th -Officer Training. Then, we'll leave for J.A.S.O.C. (JAG attorney training) from October 9th to December 13th. Both trainings will probably take place in Montgomery, AL, JM may or may not accompany me to those trainings. We don't know our first assignment base yet but we're not even anxious about that at all. We'll keep you posted ;-)
