T Minus 3 and counting . . .

Lieutenant Lea is ready for boot camp!  First 5 weeks of COT, which stands for Commissioned Officer Training.  Then 9 weeks of JASOC, Judge Advocate Staff Officer Course.

We'll be driving down to Montgomery, AL tomorrow and Jenny will start the program this coming Monday, at noon.

We'll keep you posted via this blog as regularly as possible.  We think Jenny will be operating incommunicado during the first two weeks, but I'll share every bit and piece that I can get.

We're excited to finally start this journey.  Thank you for your support and please, comment on the blog so Jenny can see it.

You can also send her snail mail and packages at the following address:

First Lieutenant Jennifer Lea
(COT Class 12-06)
550 E. Maxwell Blvd. #9000
Maxwell AFB, AL 36112-5000
USA

As someone told her, COT is the most fun you'll never want to have again. So let's all make sure she'll have the daily dose of fun she deserves!

  1. It was so fun seeing you guys and getting a sneak preview of your uniform, Jenny. I bragged on FB about getting homemade caramel made in my kitchen by a 1st Lieut. :D We'll be praying tomorrow and in the weeks to come. Love you!

  7. Wow, Jenny, you look so awesome in your uniform. You and JM have slightly different salute styles. JM's thumb is folded in, whereas yours is half-way folded. Which is the proper way? Maybe this training will tell you!
Anyway, SO PROUD OF YOU and I'm so glad you set up this blog so I can follow your adventures. Go JENNY!!
    Love, Heidi
