About efficiency
The training is going full speed and days are packed with PT (physical training) and classes. So every second counts when you have to get ready in the morning. A little bit of organization helps.
I've got so many questions! How are you getting these photos, Jean-Marc?
What is that shiny thing on the right?
Jenny, did you know that Andy McCampbell is there with you? He's a physician's assistant. He & his family used to go to St. Elmo with us, and he's a great guy. I hope you can connect. I hope you're allowed conversation with your fellow COT-ees.
How awful is the "in your face screaming" part? I hope you're able to laugh to yourself and think, "Yeah, dude, you're just screaming because you know I'll outrank you in a couple weeks. Payback is hell!"
Has the cloud cover from Isaac helped with the heat?
Jean-Marc, if you have any answers to my many questions, I'd love to know! I imagine Jenny is still incommunicado. But not really, because we're all praying for her and God is with her answering our prayers, so it's like a spiritual kind of communication with her!
Very efficient & organized, as any good military officer should be! :) Mrs. Lea, I think the shiny thing is some sort of reflective belt, perhaps for being seen at night? I loved your comment about being screamed at - I imagine having a sense of humor in the midst of this is quite helpful. Jenny, I echo your mom in saying that we're praying and God is with you. May He continue to supply all your needs!
Thanks all! Appreciate your prayers!!! Belt is reflective belt for "dusk", I'll try to find the st Elmo guy --there are something like 269-70 of us and mostly medical singe might be hard to find. Not too much heat, but still very hot. Our "flight" is pulling together, encouraging each other and laughing and crying together. Nibtime for more. Test tomorrow.
Hi Jenny! Finally I have a connection in Atascadero where we're staying. I feel guilty enjoying meeting Jayce-Harper while you're enduring such hard training. I'm glad to hear that your "flight" is pulling together and that you can support each other through this ordeal. Love you lots and we are praying for strength and energy for you.

ReplyDeleteNo, I don't have the answers to these questions. I'm wondering, too, how things are going for her. Hopefully, I'll have some news this weekend.
